Bad caddyNever put meat, fish, dairy products, packaging or cooked pasta in your BioCycle caddy.
Check your emails regularly for notifications about collection dates.
We can't guarantee consistent collection times, as this is dictated by weather conditions and volunteer availability.
Use the compostable liners provided to bag your food waste, inside your caddy.
Don't put compost directly into your caddy, or use non-compostable bags.
When one compostable liner bag is full, tie the top and start filling a new liner.
Don't overfill your compostable liners, as it causes them to tear and leak food waste.
Leave your caddy outside in a visible location near your front door on collection days.
Don't hide your caddy or change where you leave it out - our volunteers might not find it!
Keep filled liner bags inside your caddy, with any bags that don't fit placed on top.
Don't leave compostable bags directly on the ground. Rain and rats can tear holes in the bags.
Clean your caddy regularly to prevent bacteria build up.
Don't let your caddy fill with smelly slime.
